Maptech's Offshore Navigator for Windows 95/98/2000 is Maptechs full-featured program for real time GPS plotting on your PC screen. With Offshore Navigator and a Maptech Digital Chart, Photo Chart, or Chart Pack you can plan your routes on your laptop at home, walk aboard, plug in your GPS, and plot your position right on the screen. If you have an autopilot, Offshore Navigator will output the NMEA data to drive it.
For users of the Maptech Contour Professional (3-D), Offshore Navigator allows you to run and synchronize both the 3-D and Raster charts.
Most Garmin, Magellan, Lowrance, and Trimble GPS Units are compatible with Offshore Navigator and will allow:
Transfer of WAYPOINTS to and from GPS
Transfer of ROUTES
Transfer of TRACKS
Real Time Tracking
