Description

All boom end fittings are made of high quality glass fiber filled nylon. Unlike inboard boom-end fittings from other manufacturers ours have a firm grip around the mast.This ensures that mast and boom turn together. When retrofitting an old mast with high heel plug first make sure the total mast length will not exceed 2350 mm. Diameters given are outside tube diameters.

Specifications

Installation: Remove the old part by using, power dril to loosen the previous part and using, flat head screw driver to pry it loose. The original parts are installed with glue so you may need to twist it loose. Install the new part using, rubber mallet to hammer it firmly into place. If you desire, you may use, marine glue such as 3M 4200 to glue it in place. Make sure that the orientation of the fitting matches the other fittings on the boom.
