Myerchin Black Offshore System Knife features handles made from glass fiber reinforced resin, G10 and includes marlinspike and sheath. Part of Myerchin's “Professional Series” this material has the appearance of a modern carbon fiber. Myerchin uses pro-grade German Marine stainless and is comparable to 440C for hardness. In addtion Myerchin's Black Offshore knife's quailty stainless steel has excelent edge-holding properties with additional anti-oxidation elements added in the final crafting. Extreme strength and moderate weight. The Offshore System was the first knife designed by Myerchin a quarter century ago. The Classic Sheepsfoot blade design is a modern version of the classic knives used by seamen for centuries. It includes a heavy leather sheath, knife, and Myerchin Marlinspike. This knife features a Standard Blade.
