There may be different reasons, a stay or a shroud breaks or pulls out of a terminal, a bolt or the mast itself breaks. The situation is almost the same: storm, rough sea, excitement, fear! It becomes hard for everybody to stand on deck and still, the mast has to be secured or even separated from the ship in order to avoid further danger and damage to the crew and the boat.

The solution is the newly developed shroud shooting device Shootit 12 for cutting shrouds or stays loose or under tension.

One handed operation

With the newly developed shroud shooting device Shootit 12 the shrouds no longer need to be cut with lots of effort by long armed steel rope cutters or with ratchet cutters. Now they are just "shot through".

No manual force necessary, just one shot per shroud. Shootit 12 - load, catch the shroud, fire, finished. This genuine one hand tool is furthermore small and handy.

The unit is gun license free and suitable for operation by every one.
