SOSpenders Inflatable Lifejackets

All of the SOSpenders inflatable life jackets have a high-strength, nylon cover that is highly durable, yet soft to the touch, for comfort. For added comfort, these units are tailor-made and designed to rest on the wearer's shoulders and not on their neck. The shroud and bladder have been sewn together to form a one piece unit that is easy to wear, easy to rearm, and easy to repack. The bladder is brightly colored for high visibility and the seams are heat-welded for leak-proof integrity. SOLAS reflective tape strips are attached to the bladder for the best possible chance to be seen at night. These PFDs fasten using a two-inch Fastex buckle that has an audible "click" which tells you it's secured.

The harness models standard safety features include two large, heavy-duty, stainless steel D-rings for a secure tether attachment, a two-inch nylon webbing belt with 6,000 pounds of breaking strength, a light strap attachment for an emergency light (light not included).

All models carry a two-tone emergency whistle and a backup oral inflation tube, and (1) one CO2 cartridge ready to activate and maybe used to inflate the unit only one-time. All of these are adult models designed for a minimum weight of 80 lbs. & age 16 and over, chest size 30" - 52". They provide 35lbs of buoyancy, supplied by a 38 gram CO2 cylinder. The SOSpenders are quite a bit shorter than the Mustang Survival models, and fit better if you're going to be "sitting on the rail" for a long time.
