Extremely cold weather conditions in mid winter. Drysuit is a must. Base and Midlayers are highly recommended. You will need a warm hat to keep your head and ears warm as well as decent gloves that will work in an around the water. Ideal temperature 45 degrees F or lower.
Clothing for sailors in wet and extreme enviroments. These items are great for Early spring or late fall and in some areas are great through the winter. Ideal temperature range 30-50 degrees F.
The best gear for cold fall and spring days. This clothing can be great for winter seasons in warmer climates as well. Ideal temperature 40-60 degrees F.
The air might be warming up but the water is still cold. this gear is perfect for mid fall and spring conditions or throughout the year in places with colder water. Metalite provides wind blocking and outerwarmth while microfleece layers give insulation. Ideal temperature 70-45 degrees F.
Hydrophobic fleece provides some insulation, fast wicking and more flexibility as temperature rise. Ideal for late spring or early fall days or summer time in colder climates. Add the Zhik Orspan Top for an added waterproof layer. Ideal temperature 75-55 degrees F.
As temperature increases, insulation loses its important and wicking takes its place. Tight fitting layers of UV protected lycra help to keep the sun off and pull moisture away from the skin for comfort. Ideal temperature 65-85 degrees F.
This gear is best for hot days on the water in light breeze. Loose fitting gear allows for maximum breathability and comfort as well as freedom of movement. Protection from the sun becomes a priority. Ideal temperature 80 degrees F or higher.
