Recent improvements to this style include the new direct injection molded sole consisting of a durable NonSlip - NonMarking™ rubber outsole and PU midsole for extra shock absorbency. An expandable top part is now standard to facilitate easier putting on/taking off and also caters for the average and above average calf muscles. While not required this feature is an integral part of the regular fitting of the boot. In addition, there is a warm, GORE-TEX lining that wick perspiration away from the foot.
