One class: 4 hours
Course Overview
Choosing the right marine electronics system has never been more confusing and complicated. Manufacturers are constantly releasing new products to try and stay one step ahead of the competition. Selecting the latest and greatest, however, is not always the right choice when your family's safety and precious leisure time is at stake. You don't want to waste your weekend fighting with your chartplotter or radar, you want to go boating. This seminar will give you the tools and information you need to make an informed purchase and get the gear that's right for you and your boat.
Topics
- GPS/Chartplotter/Multifunction Displays - Features, functions and interfaces that suit the way you use your boat
- Radar/AIS/Night Vision - Collision avoidance tools and technologies for the 21st century
- VHF/DSC/Cellular - Staying in-touch and being prepared for an emergency
- Satellite Phones/Broadband - Communication systems for your off-shore adventures
- Satellite TV and Radio - Entertainment systems for the whole family
