Super Harness
The Lirakis line of harnesses exceeds ORC standards and British Standard Institute requirements for ocean racing. The design is the result of practical experience on the oceans of the world -- proven in high latitudes for wearability over bulky heavy-weather gear as well as in sweltering equatorial realms. The simple and tangle-free design of the Lirakis ORC Super Harness makes it easy to put on and comfortable to wear. The ORC Super Harness that we carry consists of a body harness made with 9,000-lb. test, 2" webbing with one welded stainless steel D-ring, attached to a 6' tether of 1" webbing with two stainless steel non-magnetic (check your compass!) hooks. It's adjustable, light, strong, and simple, and the tether can be detached without removing the harness. The tether has a positive locking hook which cannot unlock by itself.
