Captain Marti lives aboard and solos her 31' Allmand sailboat, The Other Woman. She has been sailing the Bahamas and Florida waters since 1990 and has been a HAM radio operator since 1998. Marti is a Net Control Station for the Hurricane Watch Net, a member of the Waterway Radio and Cruising Club, the Seven Seas Cruising Association, and the Royal Marsh Harbor Yacht Club. She is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, a licensed Captain, and currently resides in Boot Key Harbor, Marathon, in the Florida Keys.
