At 2.5 pounds, this is the smallest hand-operated emergency desalinator (water maker) in the world. While extraordinarily compact in size, the PUR Survivor 06 makes an ounce of drinking water in less than 2 minutes (nearly 2 pints per hour) using a hand pump. It's recommended for 4 to 12 person life rafts. It weighs less than 3 pounds, and fits easily in an abandon ship bag.
