Heaving Line
When you need to heave a line in a hurry, whether to a crewmate in the water, an emergency docking, or ship to ship, you don't have time to make another try or practice your lasso techniques! This specially designed heaving line is packed, shaped, and weighted to snake out upwind or down to a distance of 75' with floating, UV-inhibited, braided polypropylene line that will not take a memory set or kink up like 3-strand poly line. Use this 1/8" line as a messenger for your heavier line. The whole unit weighs less than 3 lbs., and stanchion mounting bracket keeps it near to hand.
